Towards the last part of the 19th Century, the area that could be the largest lake in Northern Jutland, DK — Gårdbo Sø — became privatised and continues to this day to be drained in favour of conventional farming.
In this virtual installation placed in the Immaterial Lake Gallery, the site is reimagined with the underwater life, that once existed there. The work explores how site-specific digitisation creates an opportunity to give voice to what cannot speak for itself.
